We work with schools, nurseries, leisure centers, cultural places, penitentiary establishments, EHPADs, reception structures for the disabled (IME, CAMSP, FAM, ESAT). Job Description The Le Fil d'Ariane Circus School is looking for a teacher capable of working with children from 2 to 13 years old during weekly lessons and with various structures: prison centers, schools, nurseries, IME, EHPAD, etc. MISSIONS AND AREAS OF INTERVENTION As part of the educational project of the Le Fil d'Ariane association and the values of the French Federation of Circus Schools to which we belong, the facilitator. rice is responsible for: 1 - Teaching and promoting circus arts. 2 - Develop, lead and evaluate discovery and initiation sessions in Circus Arts. 3 - Supervise groups of students between 2 and 13 years old and parent-child workshops. 4 - Support practitioners in the discovery of circus culture. 5 - Raise users’ awareness of the sporting and artistic duality of Circus Arts. 6 - Handle and install specific equipment taking into account the rules of the art and safety recommendations. 7 – Maintain partnerships with partner structures. 8 - Communicate internally and externally: with the Board of Directors, the educational manager and parents. 9 - Maintain educational equipment, aerial hooks, inform of wear or failure of safety systems: carpets, landing mats, hook systems, etc. Description of the profile sought REQUIRED TRAINING - BIAC or TIAC - BPJEPS “circus activities” - DE Circus - Equivalent diplomas and/or experience in the fields of teaching and circus NECESSARY SKILLS 1 - Knowledge necessary for employment (knowledge): - Knowledge of audiences (development, needs, etc.) - Knowledge of educational trends and the values of popular education - Membership in the Ariadne's Thread educational project. 2 - Additional knowledge desired: - Minimal knowledge of the history of the circus - Artistic experiences welcome 3 - “Know-how” necessary for the job (practical): - Organized, rigorous - Relational ease - Comfort with the child audience - Be able to present the association's activities - Be able to teach all circus disciplines at an introductory level - interest in circus arts and performing arts in general 4 - “Social skills” necessary for the job (behaviors): - Work independently - Adaptability - Spirit of initiative - Ability to listen - Open-mindedness
