The Balles à fond circus school is recruiting: A circus arts teacher
We are looking for a circus arts teacher to complete our team and ensure the supervision of initiation, deepening and improvement workshops in circus arts for children, teenagers and adults, as well as for school projects, and projects with specific audiences.
The Maison du cirque association Balles à fond, is a circus school located in the Kermoysan district of Quimper (29), It employs 6 permanent employees including 3 circus arts teachers. The circus school trains 250 student members from the age of 4 every year, and introduces more than 1,500 people to the arts of the circus through partnerships with schools, associations and medico-educational structures. For this, it has dedicated equipment built by the town hall in 2014 including two rooms equipped to accommodate workshops. It is above all a place where values such as respect and solidarity are transmitted and shared, with an encouraging pedagogy autonomy, initiative and creativity.
The employee will be in charge of multidisciplinary workshops for students from the age of 4 (children, teenagers, adults, people with disabilities, all levels) and the creation of numbers with the students. The employee will participate in the management and maintenance of the equipment and also in the other activities of the association. The work will be carried out based on the educational project of the association and in compliance with the rules of education and safety established by the FFEC.
