Our daily activity program features over 65 activities in aquatics, creative and performing arts, adventure, sports, and more. We're searching for supervisors, head instructors, and instructors for our circus and flying trapeze programs.Our circus activities include: Flying Trapeze - Single/Double/Triple Trapeze - Mini-Tramp - Rollo Bollo - Circus Bike - Low Wire Walking - Rolling Globe - Acrobatics - Stilts - Hand Balancing - Aerial Hoop - Fire Eating - Juggling - Unicycle - Magic Acts - Spanish Web - Tight Wire - Diabolo - Devil Sticks - Lyra - Teeter Board - Clowning, and more! Additional employment is available before June 18 and after August 19. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college. 2. Supervisory staff and head instructors (senior staff members) are provided with private living accommodations. College enrolled staff members are housed in the cabins with the campers and assume counseling responsibilities in addition to instructional responsibilities during the program day. 3. Applicants must be individuals with high moral character and a strong work ethic. Working in camp and counseling children is hard work! 4. We expect our staff members to be excellent role models for our campers. Previous experience working with children is preferred. The capacity to provide warm, mature guidance is most important. 5. Camp Lohikan is a non-smoking, no vaping camp. 6. Instructors must have extensive personal experience participating in the activity, must have demonstrated expertise in the activity, and ideally, should have experience teaching the activity. 7. As a condition of employment applicants must pass Camp Lohikan's pre-offer and post-offer staff screening processes which include: reference checks, criminal background checks, sex-offender registry check and other staff screening checks deemed appropriate. 8.
