About the Role
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem solver with prior experience in casting development and talent management. This is a short-term contract position with potential for extension on future projects. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person requirements, and is available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with casting for Heidi (Summer 2025 production)
Coordinate all phases of the casting process, including scheduling, space booking, and liaising with the director, general manager, and producer
Maintain clear communication with the production team to ensure casting needs and deadlines are met
Track progress and manage casting schedules
Handle administrative duties, including preparing casting reviews, managing paperwork, and processing invoices
Support the creative team with casting research as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or coordination, preferably in theatre
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with theatrical industry practices and production workflows
High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Compensation
Flat rate of $2,000
