An esteemed arts organization invites emerging artists, collectives, and companies under the age of 25 to submit proposals. This unique opportunity is for the selection of two contemporary dance performances to be featured in the 2026 edition of DIFFUSA, a renowned festival in the Province of Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy. Now in its third year, the festival holds official recognition from both the Ministry of Culture and the Piedmont Region. Selected works will be presented on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Serra di Ristorazione Sociale in Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy. DIFFUSA is dedicated to fostering young creative talent, offering a collaborative evening where chosen performances will shine. The central theme for this year's festival revolves around "Identity," encouraging artists to explore its diverse dimensions, including territorial, cultural, and folkloric aspects; the unique character of performance spaces; personal growth and self-discovery; and the dynamic interplay between different identities through artistic connection and dialogue. The festival is built upon three core tenets:
