A Brooklyn-based contemporary dance company is casting one male dancer for an excerpt of an existing work that will be presented in January 2027 during a major performing arts presenters' conference. The role is paid: $23 per hour for rehearsals and $100 per performance.
The company wants professional dancers with company experience and strong contemporary, urban and ballet training, solid partnering skills and a good sense of rhythm. Acrobatics, traditional African dance, capoeira or martial arts are a plus. Material is learned from video. A valid US work permit is required. Rehearsals run from mid-December to mid-January in Brooklyn.
