Description:AUDITION: Contemporary DANCERS for a physical theatre production in Toronto.Contact information: [email protected] Ismailova Theatre of Dance is looking for dancers of all genders for its full-length dance/physical theatre production based on Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel “Master and Margarita” to be rehearsed sometime between May 1 and June 19 and performed on June 20, July 4, 5, 11, 12 and 18 2026 in North York and downtown. Audition date: February 21, 2026, Saturday, 2:30 - 6 pm. Audition location: Dufferin and Finch area, exact location upon registration. Dancers must be committed, reliable and available to rehearse 18 times between May 1 and June 19. Weekday mornings 10am - 3pm OR 9:30 am - 2:30 pm (please email for the exact schedule). Please note that some weekends will be required. Contemporary dance is the company's main focus, however, any dance and physical theatre background, as well as actors who can dance, are welcome to audition. All auditionees should visit the company's blog to watch videos of its past work and read information about its philosophy and mandate. This is a paid project. Registration for audition is required. Please also provide a link to a dance reel, class or rehearsal video if available. After audition some performers may be offered a part-time apprentice position and an opportunity to train with the company.
