Summary

The Department of Theatre at Vanderbilt University seeks an educator-artist at the rank of Assistant Professor of the Practice, not on the tenure track, beginning Fall 2025. The successful candidate should possess an emerging creative profile in scenic design with expertise in traditional, immersive, and/or site-specific theatre. Applicants must have an MFA in Theatre, or a related field, in hand no later than August 1, 2025, and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Screening of applications will begin October 30, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. The search committee will be chaired by Claire Sisco King, Interim Chair of the Department of Theatre.
