Description:Job DescriptionSince 1992, SpeakEasy Stage has produced vital, timely, and entertaining plays and musicals in Boston’s South End. Our shows spark conversations that continue long after audiences leave the theater. After 32 years, our Founding Artistic Director is stepping down to make room for new leadership. We are looking for an Artistic Director who has a compelling vision for our future and aligns with our values. Strong candidates will be excellent producers and directors; be committed to inclusive theatre-making practices; and have a track record of developing people. Central to our mission, we are looking for someone who will be committed to the Boston theatre community and will prioritize opportunities for engaging local talent. The new Artistic Director will start in summer 2025 and the Search Committee plans to finalize the selection in early 2025. The salary range is $115,000-$125,00 and includes a full benefits package.
