Description:

We are currently searching for a reliable, responsible, knowledgeable, kind and supportive person to fill our acrobatics instructor position. Responsibilities include teaching acro students skills and stunts, and choreographing a routine for our end-of-year recital.

We currently have three classes available, a beginning (ages 6-8), intermediate (10-12) and advanced (13+). As the instructor in charge of these classes, you would be responsible for the curriculum and building up the students' strength and flexibility so they can then safely perform the acro skills and stunts you would be teaching them.

You would also be responsible for choreographing and teaching a routine for the winter show.

Ideal candidates will have a mix of gymnastics and dance (preferably ballet and/or contemporary) and at least one year of teaching and choreographing (depending on performance experience). Experience in spotting advanced stunts (aerials, handsprings, flips) is a must.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

To keep our instructors as safe as possible, we are requiring everyone entering the building to wear masks (even while dancing). We have limited our class sizes to enforce social distancing and are cleaning between each class.
