2021 Summer Job Opportunities
Dance & Circus Performers and Teachers
Looking for Performing and Teaching Artists for Summer work June 14 – August 15. Pending on your level of expertise this could be a part-time or full-time position. Contracts can be 4 -10 weeks.
Job descriptions are below:
Performing Artist
- Outdoor and possibly indoor shows called ‘Animalia’ and ‘Random Acts of Kindness’. Performers will perform in 2-3 dances/acts. The acts do not need to be created in advance or before applying.
- Performance dates and venues are being confirmed, but will most likely be on the weekends.
- Be open to collaboration and feedback.
- Must be willing to help set-up and strike the indoor and outdoor stages/theater.
- Experience in gig work is a plus for additional work.
Teaching Artist
- Recreational Camp
o Focus is on fun and safety.
o 9am – 5pm: Generally teachers teach either the morning or afternoon shift.

- Circus & Dance Summer Creation Lab
o June 14 – June 25
o July 19 – 31 / August 1
o Two weeks of technique classes in the morning and afternoon rehearsal to create a show for the second weekend.

- Evening Classes
o June 14 – August 15
o Monday – Thursday, 5pm – 8:30pm
o Class Schedule that repeats each week
