Aerial Edge Circus Convention - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
From the team that brought you the Edinburgh Aerial and Acro Convention, we are excited to announce our newest event: The Aerial Edge Circus Convention.

The must do event of the circus year is here! Keeping the fun, the energy, and the highest quality of teachers, that made EAAC a special event to many, our annual convention will now be hosted in our home city of Glasgow.

Come and join us for a non-stop weekend of workshops in a huge range of disciplines for everyone from beginner to professional level including Flying Trapeze for the first time in our convention history!

Alongside classes in Flexibility, Trapeze, Hoop and Silks, you will also have the chance to try out something different with workshops in Cyr Wheel, Teeterboard, Trampoline and much more!
(Full list of disciplines and teachers coming soon.)

We’ve also got your entertainment for the weekend covered as alongside the convention we are also co-hosting an exciting new performance festival at Platform Theatre: Braw Circus Festival.

Braw Circus Festival is a new contemporary circus festival featuring work from Scottish companies All or Nothing, Bassline Circus, Circus Geeks, Ellie Dubois and Aerial Edge Artists.

Braw will also feature community workshops, sharing of work in progress from some of Scotland’s emerging circus artists and will host industry conversations about the future of contemporary circus in Scotland. Tickets for Braw events can be purchased separately, but transport from Kelvin Hall to Platform will be included as part of your convention ticket.

With around 400 workshops, the Aerial Edge convention is one of the UK’s largest events of its kind and brings together the circus community from far and wide. We can’t wait to see you there!

Event Suitable for over 16’s only.
