Nicole Malbeuf is a circus artist currently based in Ontario, Canada. She works in hair suspension and as an aerial arts generalist, performing on aerial silks, hammock, hoop and lollipop lyra. She is known for her keen sense of musicality and her infusion of story and character in her work. Nicole was recently featured on Canada’s Got Talent (2022), seen performing at the Canadian National Exhibition (2023) and showcased at St. John's International Circus Festival's NSO Masterworks 1: Under the Big Top (2023, directed by Isabelle Chassé). As a freelance aerialist, she is on the roster of talent for Circus Du Soleil and actively performs for various entertainment companies and production houses such as Cirque Revolution (Mississauga ON), The Idea Hunter (Toronto ON) and Zero Gravity Circus (Toronto ON). She has also collaborated with cutting edge contemporary circus companies such as Balancing on the Edge (Toronto), Hercinia Arts Collective (Toronto), Femme du Feu Creations (Welland/Toronto) and 4th Line Theatre (Millbrook). Her most recent solo production, A Hen Called Freedom, was funded by The Canada Council for the Arts and she has seen generous support and endorsement from Public Energy Performing Arts (Ontario). Nicole operates under her company name Trellis Arts.
