Responsibilities: The teacher ensures that his method of teaching and class management is done in compliance with the rules of life of the school. He or she creates a positive environment in the classroom and is able to modify his or her teaching in order to adapt to the different learning styles of the students. The teacher must pay attention to the particularities as well as the needs of the students to help them progress and motivate them on a daily basis. Qualifications and requirements Hold an undergraduate university degree* attesting to a 3-year university study program. * For diplomas obtained abroad, the comparative evaluation of studies carried out outside Quebec produced by the MIFI and attesting that you hold the equivalent of a university degree in Quebec, at the baccalaureate level, is mandatory. Have acquired one year of relevant educational experience (in teaching, animation, training or supervision, preferably with young people or groups of young people between 4 and 21 years old), and this during the last 5 years. Have an interest in engaging in a qualified course in teaching. Have proof of passing the French test (TECFÉE, SEL (version B) or CÉFRANC) or commit to providing it within a prescribed time if you pass the selection process.
