The Orléans National Choreographic Center (CCNO) is an association by the law of July 1, 1901, it is a member of the Association of National Choreographic Centers (ACCN). Created in 1995, the CCNO has been managed since January 2025 by the Collectif ÈS.

Its missions are mainly:
- support for the creation of artistic teams and the development of the productions of the Collectif ÈS;
- training and development of choreographic culture on a territorial scale (agglomeration, department, region) resulting in artistic education projects, aimed at amateurs and professionals. The technical spaces of the building are composed of 2 creation studios with technical equipment (one with modular bleachers), 2 dance studios, 1 wood & metal construction workshop, 1 technical storage area, 1 reception hall with an area dedicated to exhibitions and a set storage warehouse.
Job Description
Within a permanent team of 12 people, under the authority of the ÈS collective, the technical director supervises a principal stage manager and the occasional technical teams of the CCNO. He/she is responsible for implementing all of the CCNO's technical activities: management of the building, CCNO productions and all of the CCNO's artistic and educational activities: within its walls, with partner structures, in particular the Théâtre d'Orléans, or in the public space.
As part of his/her role and in conjunction with the administrator and the director of productions and development, the technical director is responsible for investments and the budget related to buildings, technical equipment and the choice of occasional technical staff.

Activities:
— Maintain and manage the building and technical equipment
In conjunction with the city of Orléans, owner of the building, he/she oversees the preventive maintenance of the building.
He/she is the guarantor of the general proper functioning of the premises, accessibility, compliance with ERP regulations and compliance with hygiene and safety rules.
He/she manages the CCNO's equipment and computer networks, as well as their development.

— Technical development and implementation of the artistic project in close collaboration with management and the administration/production division.
He/she supervises and organizes the technical coordination for CCNO productions, in creation and operation in France and abroad. As part of this mission, he/she supervises and organizes the technical implementation of CCNO productions in conjunction with the artistic management and the various creators. He/she ensures the organization of tour dates in conjunction with the general tour manager. He/she works in collaboration with the administrator and the production director for the budgetary monitoring of technical expenses and the choice of the necessary technical staff.
He/she assesses technical feasibility, ensures the preparation, operation and coordination of all reception and residency activities.
Description of the profile sought
Training level Bac +3
Significant experience in a similar position lasting at least 5 years
Mastery of the various technical professions in live performance.
Experience of touring in France and abroad desired
Strong managerial, anticipation and organizational skills Good
interpersonal skills and aptitude for teamwork
Autonomy, sense of initiative and responsibility
Interest in dance and contemporary creation
Availability and responsiveness, flexible hours, possible travel in France and abroad

Certifications and know-how:
Training in technical management appreciated (CFPTS, ISTS, ENSATT)
Mastery of the operation of an ERP establishment and of safety related to technical equipment
Mastery of fire safety regulations in ERP (Type L, R and Y)
Good knowledge of labor legislation and the collective agreement in force (CCNEAC)
Mastery of office applications and technical software (Autocad, Office, Qcad SketchUp, Orféo)
Knowledge of computer networks appreciated (Servers, IP Voice, Internet, Wifi, etc.)
Safety training related to the 1st category entertainment entrepreneur license, SSIAP Diploma.
Electrical qualification training (Bs and Br)
Hooking and lifting training (appreciated)
Holder of a C.AC.ES or training for PEMP 1A driving authorization
B license essential
Good level of English required
