NICA is recruiting for a new Dance Teacher!

The National Institute of Circus Arts Australia (NICA) is seeking a talented and dynamic Dance Teacher to provide artistic and educational vision in movement studies in the Bachelor of Circus Arts and Certificate IV in Circus Arts.

This position is responsible for:
• Inspiring, engaging and educating NICA’s students in the Bachelor of Circus Arts and Certificate IV in Circus Arts while ensuring health and safety standards
• Implementing industry best practice and applying current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies
• Collaborating within in a team of education professionals to plan, deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs
• Customising and adapting NICA’s programs to meet our learners and clients needs that vary from certificate level through to the degree
• Contributing to the development of the performance units in the Bachelor of Circus Arts and Certificate IV in Circus Arts
• Working and collaborating with guest artists, directors and trainers as required
• Choreographing and facilitating creative projects as required

NICA Ltd is a not for profit company, owned by Swinburne University of Technology and established to create world class training for the circus and physical theatre industry.
