Youth Circus Costume Making - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
We’re seeking participation from local young people (aged 13-16) for involvement in our circus costume making project. Led by artists from Tin House, the young people will construct spectacular 3D costumes inspired by circus heritage. The costume creations will be part of Great Yarmouth Arts Festival carnival parade (Saturday 9th June) and Lord Mayors Procession, Norwich (Saturday 7th July).

Young people getting involved in this project can also find out about our other youth arts projects led by Creative Collisions in Great Yarmouth, such as our National Art & Design Saturday Club for 13-16 year olds who will also be taking part.

OurNational Art & Design Saturday Club is delivered by Time & Tide Museum and East Coast College, and developed by Creative Collisions youth network. This series of workshops will be part of 'Circus Comes to Town', a collaborative project between Norwich City Council, SeaChange Arts, Lost in Translation, Circus 250 and Norwich Arts Centre. They see the region marking 250 years of circus in 2018, thanks to funding from Arts Council England.
