Workshop mixing dance and aerials by Nomad-Philippe Bost - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Workshop mixing dance and aerials by Nomad-Philippe Bost (15+ years)

Sat and Sun 11.-12.4.
Time 10–16 (with 1,5-hour lunch break, lunch not included)
Price: 100 €
Level: Open level. You need to know at least five movements with your aerial discipline.

Do you want to explore the possibilities of mixing movements based on modern and contemporary dance and aerial acrobatics? Workshop focuses on combining dance elements and circus techniques of discipline
chosen by the participant (f. ex. rope, silks, trapeze, straps). The aim of the workshop is to explore participants personal way of moving and creating, and to search tools for transforming dance elements
from the floor to the air. Workshop approaches movement with sensitivity. Using participants senses and feelings it is possible to create something unusual, fascinating and instantaneous. You can take part with any aerial acrobatics discipline or chinese pole (except swinging/flying trapeze). You can bring your own aerial equipment or use one of Circus Helsinki´s. Please inform us your aerial discipline beforehand.
