Weekend Immersions - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Weekend Immersions are coming up! Snag your spot before they're gone. More info here: https://necenterforcircusarts.org/training/workshops/

CONTORTION with Ariana Ferber-Carter: JULY 23-25
Expand your active range of motion, skills, and transitions! We’ll start with an active flex warm-up for the legs and back, and then develop skills such as leg scales, levers, inversions, and back bends.

TRAMPOLINE & TRAMP WALL with Jim Strong: JULY 23-25 & AUG. 20-22
Want to take your love of defying gravity up a notch? That’s where tramp wall comes in. NECCA’s walls have three possible heights and the trampoline has two sides, giving you plenty of space to work. Each person will learn at their own level.

AERIAL SLING with Lauren Breunig: AUG. 7-8
Looking to reignite your love for sling, or just want to keep expanding your repertoire? This weekend aerial sling immersion will inspire you on your aerial journey with playful sequencing, guided exploration, and a supportive environment.

AERIAL ROPE with Molly Graves & Rachel Rees: AUG. 14-15
Instructors Molly Graves and Rachel Rees will challenge you, wherever you are, through exploration of momentum and beat pathways, creative choreographic sequences and transitions, c-shaping technique, and progressions for learning or returning to challenging skills like roll-ups and dynamic release moves.

TRAPEZE with Megan Gendell: AUG. 21-22
Join us for a weekend of exploration and technique with one of our favorite trapeze coaches! This classic apparatus offers so many things—bar work, vertical space, rolling, turning, and beating. We’ll experiment, play, and create through guided investigations to refine your trapeze technique while developing new skills and learning inventive sequences and pathways.

CYR WHEEL with Zeb Galipeau: AUG. 27-29
Dive into the grace, the power, and the frustrations of the Cyr wheel while deepening your confidence and skill repertoire. You’ll work at your own pace and level—improving your waltz and learning new skills such as arabesque, cartwheel, rockstep, and corners, as well as waltz variations and the transitions that help tie it all together.

GERMAN WHEEL with Chris Delgado: SEPT. 4-5
Get head over heels in this wheel adventure with international coach Chris Delgado. You’ll do it all—straight line, spiral, and vault—with a special emphasis on how you can continue to train tricks after you get home. After warming up with belt skills, you’ll be presented with new tricks and unusual transitions.

LYRA with Jenna Ciotta: SEPT. 4-5
We’ll work in the center of the hoop, below the hoop, in the ropes above the bar, and also explore those always-forgotten outside edges. We’ll explore swinging and coning- techniques for moving the hoop out from under the rigging and filling your stage even more.
