WEEKEND IMMERSION: LYRA WITH MEGAN MALLOUK - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Turn up the heat on your lyra style with this weekend immersion! Learn to fill the space and navigate pathways in and around the aerial hoop—be it single or double point. We will twist, twirl, dive, and roll from top to bottom. We’ll work in the center of the hoop, below the hoop, in the ropes above the bar, and also explore those always-forgotten outside edges. Students will be introduced to short sequences that combine both static shapes and dynamic movement. Through the breakdown of these sequences, students will learn individual skills and how to seamlessly connect them through subtle movement.
