Understanding Neuromuscular Techniques - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
THIS IS THE FIRST WORKSHOP OF A 4-PART TRAINING SERIES BEST DONE AS A SET
www.divingbuddah.com/workshop4PartTrainingSeries.html
However, if you can't attend the full series, there is plenty to learn from taking one or more workshops on an individual basis.

Description:
One important part of athletic ability is the balanced qualities of range of motion (ROM), strength, stability, and good alignment. The application of techniques that utilize neuromuscular principles is indispensable with respect to achieving these attributes. As a result, their use has gained much popularity in recent years.

Aspects of neuromuscular principles are utilized in techniques such as PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), isometric stretching, contract-relax techniques etc.

The effective use of these neuromuscular techniques (NMTs) is as much art as it is science. Most people have little to no understanding of how NMTs work, and at best a simplified understanding of their full potential. As a result, they are unable to fully achieve the amazing benefits of artful, refined application.

This workshop serves to give an educated overview of all that comprises the art and science of neuromuscular techniques and their application. It will give you an understanding that will allow you to be multifaceted with your application of neuromuscular principles to achieve almost magical results.
