Special Edition - International Circus Festival Gold Elephant ^expired

After the extraordinary success of critics and audiences in its first nine editions, with more than 200,000 spectators, Girona will host at the end of June the only international circus festival in our country. In the image of the great circus festivals of Moscow or Monte Carlo, the next edition of the contest offers a careful selection of artists including the world’s elite of the best trapeze artists, acrobats, jugglers and clowns from all over the world to captivate us with his feats.

The next edition of the Circus Festival changes place and its usual dates: to offer the maximum guarantees of distance, access and ventilation will be held in the Sports Hall of Fontajau, transformed into a stable circus for the occasion, from 24th to 28th June 2021.

Throughout 2020 and 2021 most of the major international circus festivals held around the world have been canceled. Golden Elephant 2021 wants to pay tribute to them by creating a special edition entitled “Festival of Festivals” which will present the winning numbers of the latest editions of the Festivals of Moscow, China, France, Ukraine … In total there will be 18 attractions presented by more than 40 artists from 11 countries, as usual, in two semifinals (shows Blue and Red).
