Re Rīga! ^expired Free

“Re Riga!” is an international contemporary circus and street art festival taking place annually in August since 2013. During eight years, the festival has brought more than 120 artists from 25 countries to Latvia gathering more than 80 000 visitors.

Festival aims –
– To activate cultural processes in Riga by making the city a positively charged, creative, adventurous and socially attractive environment;
– To introduce contemporary circus to Latvia and to strengthen its development in the Baltic.
In 2022 “Re Riga!” will take place from August 17 – 21 in two places of Riga – Zeļļu Street 25 (temporary space of Riga Circus) and Sporta Streets Square.


This year at Re Rīga! you will be able to witness the beloved circus company “Be Flat” from Belgium whose parkour performance “Follow Me” has surprised people in different countries all over the world. Other special guests include Marina Cherry, Tripotes la Compagnie, Kanta Company and Taigi Cirkas.

However, if enjoying a performance is not enough, you can also try your own hand at the arts of the circus, and join Riga Circus school in their creative workshops in Āgenskalns market.
