Physical Theatre Workshop: Puppet ^expired

This Class will begin with the animation of objects, breathing life into inanimate objects, finding how they move in the space, and in a group bringing these creatures to life. We will explore puppetry with just hands, and then move into shadows with hands, then shadow puppets. We will play with Bunraku style puppetry operated puppets, and we will play with marionettes, and large puppets. We will learn to work with hand and rod puppets, we will use a monitor and learn TV puppetry techniques. Feel free to bring your own puppets if you like.

Class will begin with physical warmups and interactive team-building games.  Please dress accordingly.
