Non Verbal Bodies by Ziggy Slingsby and Laura Murphy - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
(Non)Verbal Bodies is a double bill featuring solo performance artists Ziggy Slingsby and Laura Murphy.
Both Ziggy and Laura are aerial rope artists, working across circus and experimental theatre. They are individually concerned with creating body-centred work, which pushes boundaries and communicates complex narratives, both verbally and non-verbally.
Two Legged Animal is non-verbal, movement based - may be suitable for audiences who find it difficult to follow dialogue, or non english speaking
Contra (work-in-progress) is both text- heavy and movement based - may be suitable for audiences who are visually impaired
Age recommendation: 16+
This double bill is part of our Circus250 ‘Made in Bristol and the South West’ series, featuring two Bristol-based artists.
