Fans and friends, we invite you to come out to see our preview of Murmurations on June 11th at 7:30pm at Links Hall! With special guests La Vuelta, the two-person circus and theatre company founded by Raquel Torre and Jean Claudio.

Experience a whimsical and touching evening of circus, dance, and theater and a unique take on human psychology with a drive towards the artistic, the playful, and the fantastical. (A full run of this production will also be featured in the Chicago Fringe Festival from Aug 30th to Sep 10th.)

Murmurations has been developed through performances around Chicago, including Potluck Variety Hour at Frontier Theater, Physical Fest and Heels Over Head at iO. For this production, we took a closer look at human quirks and foibles, exploring our psychology through the lens of social interaction, friendship, and sacrifice. Most of all, it’s about celebrating the weird we each have inside of us no matter how hard we try to hide it. And though the topics are heavy, the characters are playful and light, both human and forgiving. The audience cheers on the four characters as they work to overcome their hidden struggles by working together as well as facing their fears and shortcomings through their group strengths.
