Master Youth Intensive
For students ages 15 – 19

Training Period : July 6 through August 8 with presentation August, 7,8 and 9th 2020.

San Diego Circus Center offers a MASTER INTENSIVE PROGRAM for students ages 15 to 19. The Master Program is a 5 week intensive where they will cross train several different disciplines.

Alongside Cirque du Soleil coaches through our “NexGen” collaboration, SDCC coaches will train 15 chosen applicants over the course of 5 weeks in their respective disciplines. Our intensives will perform a final performance for a three day run.

Classes (pending recruitment and Cirque du Soleil “NexGen” curriculum & SDCC needs) may include but are not limited to Teeterboard (Exit & Korean Plank), Trampoline, Trampwall, Floor acrobatics, Hoop Diving, Trapeze, Duo Trapeze, Hand to hand, Lyra, Handstands, Russian Bar, Cradle, Silk, Straps, Active Flexibility, Contortion, Chinese Pole, Clowning and Rope.

Don’t miss our 2020 Master Youth Intensive opportunity to train with top coaches from San Diego Circus Center, Cirque du Soleil (NexGen collaboration) and Ecole Nationale de Cirque.

Athletes will participate in a 5 week intensive where they will cross train several different disciplines from the five pillars of circus which include Aerial, Ground, Rebound, Clowning/Theatre and Dance/Movement. Students will train 6 days a week, approximately 39 hours a week of focused training.

Classes (pending recruitment and Cirque du Soleil; NexGen collaboration & SDCC needs) may include but are not limited to Teeterboard (Exit & Korean Plank), Trampoline, Trampwall, Floor Acrobatics, Hoop Diving, Trapeze, Duo Trapeze, Hand to hand, Lyra, Handstands, Russian Bar, Cradle, Silk, Hammock, Juggling, Straps, Floor Acrobatics, Flexibility/Contortion, Active Flexibility, Chinese Pole, Dance/Movement, Clowning and Rope.
