Don’t miss this opportunity to train with top coaches from San Diego Circus Center & Cirque du Soleil. This is a unique opportunity for athletes and artists to immerse themselves in an intensive five-week training program.

After the recruitment period, athletes will participate in a 5 week intensive where they will cross train several different disciplines, including dance, flexibility, floor, clowning/theatre, and aerial. Alongside CDS coaches, SDCC coaches will train 15 chosen applicants over the course of 5 weeks in their respective disciplines. Encouraged to attend the bi-annual AYCO Festival beginning on August 14th, the intensives will perform for the opening ceremony of the festival and selected intensives will be asked to perform at the San Diego Circus Festival alongside Cirque Du Soleil’s guidance and recoupments. Basic classes for the intensive will include but are not limited to Dance, Clown, Active Flexibility, and Conditioning. Specialized Classes (pending recruitment and CDS/SDCC needs) may include but are not limited to Teeterboard, Trampoline, Trampwall, Hoop Diving, Trapeze, Duo Trapeze, Hand to hand, Lyra, Handstands, Russian Bar, Cradle, Silk, Straps and Rope.
