LEME explores the new languages of the contemporary circus and the artistic creation for unconventional spaces, searching for different creative approaches, in confrontation with the experimentation. An active transfiguration of the traditional vision of the cultural space of our times, opening doors to new artistic perspectives, focusing on multidisciplinary and difference, makes this festival a space of collective connections for all ages.

LEME returns to its berth. In this third edition, establishing new ground and new circus languages. The focus remains on artistic creation and unconventional spaces as improvised stages, strengthening the challenge for reflection and critical thinking about the contemporary circus.
The festival takes place over the course of four days, one of them dedicated to the CIRCUS FORUM, promoting reflection meetings between sector professionals. International shows, support for Rui Paixão artistic creation, short performances from the NAVEGAR section and various training courses for professionals, students and families. Between the 4th and 6th of December, LEME challenges artists and audiences .
