Introduction to Flying Trapeze Coaching (Part 1) - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
For the very first time we are offering a unique course that will teach you all the skills necessary to become a Flying Trapeze Coach.

Places are extremely limited – max 8 participants.

Basic overview of training:

This course is aimed at people who are interested in flying trapeze and looking at taking their first step towards coaching. Participants will be introduced to the various roles of coaching a flying trapeze class. They will learn the fundamentals that are necessary to start training as a flying trapeze instructor. The course will cover board, ground, basic lines and catching.

All training will be conducted at our indoor facility in Byron Bay and tailored to apply to both indoor and outdoor flying trapeze coaching.

DATES: 30th of April to 4th May (5 days)
TIMES: Training is 11am-3:30pm each day (plus additional use of facility for self-training is open from 9am-6:30pm each day)
COST: $750
LOCATION: Byron Bay

PREREQUISITE:

# Must be at least 18* years old
# Must hold current CPR/First Aid certification by completion of program.
# Working with children’s check
# Must have attended flying trapeze classes in the past
# Must be able to hang on a bar by their knees unassisted
# Experience in a physical discipline such as Aerial arts, gymnastics, dance, martial arts is recommended.
# Must be free from injury or pre-existing medical conditions.
# Fun, encouraging and a natural teaching personality

Limited places will be made available for selected participants for ongoing trainee/coaching positions in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Sydney.
