Intro to Teaching Aerials with Nimble Arts - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
This Nimble Arts workshop is open to anyone who is interested in learning to teach the basic elements of trapeze and aerial fabric to children and adults at summer camps, schools, gymnastics programs, or circus schools following the Nimble Arts philosophy and methodology. Materials that will be covered include safety & spotting techniques; teaching methods; rigging & equipment maintenance; preventing chronic injuries; and skill progressions for beginning tricks.

WHEN: June 20 – 24, 2022
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 12:00 – 8:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

INSTRUCTOR: Nimble Arts (Elsie Smith & Serenity Smith Forchion: http://nimblearts.org/)

PREREQS: All students are expected to prepare by successfully completing the elements in the required Nimble Arts™ DVD: Aerial Fabric: Beginning Level 1 prior to the start of the workshop. Trapeze experience is not necessary, but it will make your journey easier. Designed for ages 18+. All participants must be vaccinated in order to spot.
