Hand 2 Hand with Julius Bitterling (Cirque Eloize) - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Julius Bitterling is a travelling circus artist, originally form Marktschellenberg in Germany. He first got in touch with circus in 2008 at the Winterfest Salzburg, where the companies XY and Rasposo sparked his inspiration for this art form.
He decides to start his professional education in France at the Centre Régional des Arts du Cirque de Lomme and, after a little detour to Beijing in China, deepens his artistic development at the National Circus School of Montreal.
Since his graduation Julius has performed with his partner Cesar at multiple Festivals (Ficho in Guadalajara, Cirque de Demain in Paris, YoungStage in Basel) and is currently on tour with Cirque Eloize - Hotel.

The workshop offered is for Hand to Hand Duos that have already worked together.
There are certain prerequisites to be respected. To be able to benefit fully from this course, it is important to masters these basic skills.
Even though the content of the workshop is focussed on Hand to Hand, we will be working on individual handstands and specify the technique, do some warm up games and different stretching exercises as well as group activities.

Be ready to get sore!


Prerequisites:

- Simple H2H standing for 10 seconds
- Base should be able to do a handstand on the floor, with open shoulders
- Flyer should have good experience with handstand on the floor, starting to shift weight to one arm.

Coordination in space, basic flexibility, endurance, healthy body condition and desire to move will be beneficial for the outcome of this course.

You should have a good relationship with your hand to hand partner, enjoy working together and striving for similar goals.

Sunday 13.01. 2019 10:00 – 12:30 and 14:00 – 16:30

Costs: 145€/ person

Accommodation: we are able to offer to stay the night in the heated wardrobes of the tent for 10€ per night.
