Grand Opening AirCraft Circus Academy new space ^expired Free

London’s oldest and leading independent circus school, AirCraft Circus, is rebranding into AirCraft Circus Academy and opening a brand new circus training venue in Woolwich after months of renovation.
The grand opening weekend will take place during the weekend 9 -10 June 2018 hosting an array of exciting circus workshops, open tours, brand new cabaret show ‘ The Greatest Circus Show’ (designed to celebrate 250 years of circus in the UK in 2018) and an opening party with professional circus performers and teachers in attendance. The event will coincide with the Thames-Side Studio Open Weekend in the area with over 450 local artists studios being open to the public.

Grand Opening Weekend Programme:
SATURDAY 9TH JUNE 12pm - late
1PM- 5PM Circus Workshops
Disciplines include: static trapeze, flying trapeze, juggling and hula hoop. Open to all ages and abilities, beginners very welcome. £10 per person.
1PM or 4PM Open Tour
Free personal tour around the space and a chance to get to know the history of AirCraft Circus (from auditioning to Britain’s Got Talent, taking part in London Olympics Opening Ceremony
to numerous successful circus shows in UK and beyond). The tour starts at the reception and lasts approximately 30min. Registration online required.
6PM Cabaret Show ‘ The Greatest Circus Show’
Brand new show from AirCraft Circus Performance celebrating 250 years of circus in the UK in 2018. Performers will include AirCraft Circus professionals, alumni and current degree level students. £5 per person, register online.
7PM: AirCraft Circus Academy Launch Party
Music, drinks and opportunity to talk and meet circusprofessional performers and top class teachers. Free entry, just turn up.
