Founded in 1977 by Isabelle and Dominique Mauclair, The Festival was created to give young circus artists the opportunity to present their art to an international jury and curious and enthusiastic audience. Now directed by Alain M. Pacherie, every year the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain welcomes dozens of artists from all over the world to come together to compete in Paris, hoping to win a medal and launch their career on an international scale.
