DIGITAL RESEARCH TRIP TO MEXICO - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Dear circus and street arts lovers,

We invite you to pack light and meet us somewhere between the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean for we are taking you on a digital journey to Mexico!

You can already book the dates in your calendar and prepare yourselves to embark on this journey with us, which will take place from 27 to 31 July!

In the frame of the Research Trip activity led by Circostrada Network - European Network for Circus and Street Arts - the network had scheduled a trip to Mexico City and Guadalajara from 13 to 19 July, co-organised in partnership with Periplo Movimiento Internacional de Circo. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, this trip was eventually cancelled, reframed and readjusted according to the initial objectives of this field trip, which aimed at:
▪ Getting a sense and knowledge of the Mexican circus and street arts landscape
▪ Meeting key Mexican stakeholders from the field
▪ Discovering Mexican artistic trends and aesthetics
▪ Visiting key venues for circus and street arts
▪ Establishing ties and connexions between the network members and local professionals and artists
▪ Putting Mexican circus and street arts in the spotlight for an entire week
▪ Creating valuable and lasting ressources to report on this field experience, share the knowledge acquired, the main contacts established and build on this trip to foster cooperation between European and Mexican professionals.

➡ From July 27 to July 31, you will have the opportunity to discover an eclectic sample of resources each day: publications, videos, podcasts, illustrated map, magazine, photo exhibition... We'll do our very best to make you feel away in Mexico for an entire week, and we engage ourselves to provide rich, diverse and original contents, to give you a proper overview of the Mexican circus and street arts sector.

Stay tuned!
