Circus Center Trailblazers Gala - Celebrating Women in Circus - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Enjoy delicious hors' d'oeuvres and cocktails, a dazzling show, silent auction, photo booth, ambient performers, and a few surprises! The gala is being held at the Wilsey Center in San Francisco (401 Van Ness Ave).

ABOUT OUR GALA
Circus Center was the first modern circus school in America. Before we came along, circus arts education had been either a family affair or a state-sponsored institution. But in 1984, two visionary women – Judy Finelli and Wendy Parkman – had a radical idea: make circus training accessible to everyone. They founded our school, and now 39 years later, Circus Center has grown into one of the largest and most prestigious circus schools in the US.
This year's Gala honors our founders and celebrates the many contributions – seen and unseen – of women to the circus, and we are raising money to continue our pursuit of that original founding belief: circus is for everybody! All proceeds from the Gala benefit our commitments to equity and access in circus arts education, including:
--56 children receiving over $80,000 in need-based financial aid at our Inner Sunset headquarters;
--200+ children receiving over $110,000 in full scholarship support at our Tenderloin satellite location;
--Low-price and pay-what-you-can ticket options for ALL performances; AND
--Community partnerships and events that spread the joy of circus to thousands yearly.
This lavish evening, at the sophisticated Wilsey Center on the top floor of the Veterans Building, offers three levels of opportunity for you to support this vital mission:
--VIP: Enjoy exclusive pre-show seating with bottle service, front row seating during the main show, and bottle service and an open bar throughout the evening. Add in an exclusive photo opportunity with our performers and honorees, and it's the tiptop way to experience the Gala.
--Premium: You get the best center seats for the show, plus an open bar all night long. A very pleasant way to step up for equity and accessibility in the arts.
--General: Two drinks plus food, show, silent auction, photo booth, ambient performers, and a few surprises. Stand up and be counted for Circus Center and our commitments to equity!
