CIMAC - XIV Congreso Internacional de Malabarismo y Artes Circenses - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
The XIV International Juggling and Circus Arts Congress (CIMAC) will take place from October 25th to 29th in Valparaíso. This circus event, celebrating its fourteenth edition, brings together national and international artists in an exciting display of tradition, color, joy, and circus talent.

CIMAC has experienced noticeable growth and has become an internationally renowned cultural platform. Recently, it became the only circus project in Chile to receive the support of the Ministry of Arts, Cultures, and Heritage's Career Fund, making it an event funded by the National Fund for the Promotion and Development of Performing Arts.

The congress focuses on innovation, science, and circus professionalism, emphasizing that circus is not only a form of art but also a comprehensive sport. Throughout the week, more than 20 free activities will be held for artists, enthusiasts, and the general public. Highlights include the International Region Competition (IRC) and the presence of Erin Stephen (USA), the competition's ambassador and an expert in the history of women in juggling.

In addition, significant international alliances have been established, including the State School of Performing Arts in Germany, which will offer masterclasses and perform at the gala. The event aims to strengthen the cultural relationship between Valparaíso, Chile, and Germany, and mediations will be conducted in municipal educational institutions with German artists.

The gala on Saturday, October 28th, promises to be a high-level spectacle, featuring German artists, Etienne Chauzy from France, the Enaires company, and the clown Rudy Chaparro, among others. Tickets for the gala cost $5000 and can be purchased at the box office of the Parque Cultural de Valparaíso theater.

For families, the event offers free and inclusive workshops on Saturday, the 28th, and Sunday, the 29th, including balloon twisting, magic, acrobatics, and more. On Sunday, the 29th, the public is invited to enjoy the Circus Park, where there will be games, climbing walls, outdoor performances, live music, and storytelling.

The XIV CIMAC is a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and a passion for circus arts that promises to thrill and entertain people of all ages. Join this unique experience and immerse yourself in the magical world of the circus!
