African Circus Arts Festival - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
In November 2015, Fekat Circus organized the first African Circus Arts Festival. This trailblazer event brought together 107 African circus artists from Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Senegal, South-Africa, and Zambia.
Set in a public place at the heart of Ethiopia’s capital, the Festival was attended by over 12,000 people over three performance days. The Festival exhibited the richness found in African circuses today, the immaculate skills of the artists, their incredible body awareness and unparalleled creativity.
It will bring the most vibrant circus teams from: Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Morocco, Mozambique, Rwanda and South-Africa to take part in the most important circus event in the continent.
