From the Contemporary Circus and Immersive Arts Center comes a poignant, funny, one-of-a-kind solo circus performance. A.Lone invites the public to find humor in our lockdown lifestyle, from the comfort of their own home.

Co-directed by Aaron Marquise and Marie-Josée Gauthier (Cirque du Soleil, Circus Monti) A.Lone brings you into the world of A, a lonely clown quarantined on an old theater’s stage. Outside, a war rages on. To overcome fright and loneliness, A invents a family life full of fun and mischief while reliving magnificent days in the limelight. With imagination as his weapon and fantasy as his banner, A finds the courage to believe in a brighter tomorrow. In this premiere, A seems to step off the screen and into each viewer’s home, thanks to brilliant cinematography by TM Williams Photography.

Available for streaming from January 22, 2021 to February 7, 2021.

Please Note: Tickets may be purchased in advance but the stream will not be available until 12:00 AM on January 22nd, 2021. One ticket allows access for one streaming view. Once purchased you will have 72 hours to begin viewing the performance.

ABOUT THE CONTEMPORARY CIRCUS & IMMERSIVE ARTS CENTER

Founded in 2019 by National Circus School graduate Aaron Marquise, The vision of the CCIAC is to transform Troy, NY into a US hub for contemporary circus by producing and presenting quality performances locally, nationally, and internationally. Through indoor and outdoor programming, the CCIAC strives to educate the community on the impact that circus can have as an art form.

The mission of the Contemporary Circus and Immersive Arts Center (CCIAC) is to promote, produce and present contemporary circus and other immersive arts; embracing the unique challenge of bridging the divide between this awe-inspiring art form and American audiences with generally less exposure to this world.
