3 Month Introduction Course in Contemporary Circus Arts - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Circus Factory’s introduction course to contemporary Circus Arts offers a full-time 12 week immersive physical learning environment that will introduce and train you in floor acrobatics, aerial arts and manipulation circus skills.

There is currently no other course like this on offer in Ireland and our experienced coaches have been carefully selected to ensure safe progression in skills including additional training in clown, contemporary dance and theatrical studies.

There will be individual skills progression and group / ensemble work with an end of year showcase that will give opportunity to be involved in circus production from performing to lighting and design.

COURSE BREAKDOWN
Course Dates: September 15th - December 17th 2022

Attendance: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5pm

Morning Programme: You will work with our 2 lead coaches developing strength, flexibility and technical progression in floor and aerial acrobatics.

Afternoon programme: Specialist circus skills will be taught including chinese pole, cyr wheel, juggling and object manipulation. Guest coaches will also offer weekly slots in contemporary dance, clown and theatrical studies.

Students will have the opportunity to travel to the National Circus Festival of Ireland in Tralee in November where they will meet the fast growing community of circus artists, take specialist workshops and see exciting contemporary circus shows!
