'Even When I Fall' Australian premier and Q&A - Performing Arts Events - StageLync
Women's Circus is thrilled to be launching the Australian stage of our ongoing creative partnership with Circus Kathmandu.

To celebrate Women's Circus warmly invites you to join us for the Australian premiere of this remarkable documentary by Kate Mclarnon and Sky Neal. 'Even When I Fall' traces the journey of two of the visiting CK artists, Sheetal and Saraswoti, as they confront the families that sold them, seek acceptance within their own country and begin to build a future as circus artists and company members of Nepal's first contemporary circus, Circus Kathmandu.

We hope that by raising awareness and money through events such as this, we can continue to build on this partnership and work collaboratively towards a sustainable future for Circus Kathmandu- one where they can continue to advocate for change and build awareness of the profound impact of human trafficking on communities and women.

Drinks on arrival. Followed by a Q & A with Sheetal and Saraswoti.

Content warning: this documentary contains descriptions about human and child trafficking, and may not be suitable for children. Discretion advised.

This partnership is made possible through the support of Creative Victoria for its Asia Focus grants.
