Comedy Pickpocket is a character-driven comedy variety act created and performed by Michael Halvarson, combining audience interaction, physical comedy, visual magic and precision pickpocketing into a fast-paced live experience.
The Pickpocket character was first presented internationally in Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA and has since evolved through performances with Big Apple Circus, international variety theatres, dinner shows and gala events across Europe and North America.
Blending theatrical storytelling, improvisation and visual comedy, the act is designed for modern live entertainment formats including variety programs, cruise entertainment, corporate events and theatre stages.
Available in flexible formats — from a 7–12 minute short-act pickpocket feature and integrated show moments to extended stage sets and full-length performances up to 2 × 45 minutes for theatres, cruise ships and hotel entertainment programs.
