About
Classic in essence, modern in execution.
Duo Soma reimagines one of circus’s most traditional disciplines — the perch — through a fresh, modern language of movement, dynamic choreography, and distinctive stage presence. They preserve the spirit of the tradition while giving it a bold identity of their own.
When Duo Soma takes the stage, gravity stops being a rule and the impossible becomes reality.
This front perch duo combines virtuosity, strength, elegance, and electrifying energy, transforming extraordinary physical skill into a powerful and visually striking performance.
Rising above one another, challenging balance and creating breathtaking figures, their act is built on absolute trust, precision, and risk. Yet beyond the technical achievement lies their greatest strength: the chemistry between them and their ability to transmit it to the room. Their energy, spontaneity, and expressive stage presence create a genuine connection that makes every performance feel alive.
Duo Soma knows how to build anticipation, play with the energy of the room, and turn moments of extraordinary difficulty into moments of shared excitement. The result is not simply a display of skill, but a memorable theatrical experience.
Their work has been recognized at major international circus festivals, receiving the Bronze Award at the International Circus Festival Elefant d'Or in Girona, the Silver Award at the 1st International Circus Festival of Las Vegas, the Budapest State Circus Award at the International Circus Festival of Moscow, and the Audience Award at the International Circus Festival of Grenoble.
With a distinctive artistic identity and an act that combines exceptional technique with immediate stage appeal, Duo Soma brings a signature moment to any production — turning balance into emotion, risk into beauty, and tradition into a modern spectacle.
