YURA clown drag actor  (a recovering Russian!)

a multidisciplinary performer in film, theatre, and circus. He studied theatre and acting at Shukin Theatre School, (2008), clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris (2016), mask and clown at Manitoulin Conservatory for the Performing Arts (2017). He also holds MBA from Moscow University (2001).

One-man impersonations show Viva Cabaret tribute to the greatest divas entertaining audiences for over 15 years. Featuring over 75 grotesque parodies of the most popular stars of screen and stage.

YURA's been hosting festival & cabarets around the world including Moscow, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Montreal, Toronto, NYC

2019 Ooh La La a clown cabaret premiered featuring clown, drag, dance, mask, physical theatre.

In 2015 Yura curated and directed a theatre project In The Dark exploration of personal taboos and sexual liberties.

​​​In 2014 Yura created & produced Komunka a play about civil rights in Russia.

In 2014 he produced & played several characters in In Sundry Languages a multilingual play presented at Toronto Fringe.

Montreal, Toronto, and Milan Clown Festivals, 2016 Yura has debuted with a solo clown project No Elephant Show
