My name is Yuko Hata from Japan and was living at San Francisco as performer for more than13years and moved Las Vegas I was a dancer for 23 years and I used training and performing Aerial silk for 7years. Now I've been training Contortion handbalancing since 7years ago and I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I started rhythmic gymnastics at age 10 and began dance at 15 years old. I graduated from the Japan Women’s College of Physical Education where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, studying modern, classic ballet, jazz and tap and more. I also studied Graham and Horton technique for more than 10 years. After graduation, she joined the Shiki Theatre Company in Tokyo, Japan where she performed in over 300 Broadway musicals of The Lion King from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, she began training aerial tissu at the Aerial Art Dance Project in Japan for four years and then moved to San Francisco to further pursue aerial tissu in the professional aerial program at Circus Center. I auditioned for Cirque du Soleil in 2010 as dancer and made it through the last 10 peoples. After graduating from Circus Center I refocused on dance in 2010. In 2011, I worked with Labayen Dance/SF and joined Copious Dance Theater in 2013. She began her contortion training in 2014 under Serchmaa Byamba. In the same year, I interviewed as a dancer for House of Dancing Water in Macau. I performed with Capacitor, Acrobatic Conundrum, Circus Automatic and celebrity cruise and more as dancer, contortionist, hand balancer and aerialist. *[Training experience] Gymnastics: age 9 years old/ for2 years rhythmic gymnastics: age10 years old/ for 3years Dance: age15 years old/for 23years *[circus discipline] Aerial silk: for 7years.
