Xyn Foo

Xyn (心) is an independent artistic director, producer, and community organizer. She is also the founder of Bornfire Singapore and artistic director for Bornfire Circus.

She is a graduate of Lasalle College of the Arts, majoring in contemporary dance, uses her practices regularly during her journey in the circus. For the past 16 years, she has been driving initiatives such as 11 practitioner-run circus festivals, SPROUTS intensive circus training programs, circus interest groups, two community puppetry festivals, and a series of films screenings.

She is currently working closely with Esplanade Theatres by the Bay to develop the contemporary circus scene in Singapore.
