Verse Concepts

Verse Concepts is a brand born of the pandemic. Created by Max Torandell and Gene Kimlin in the fall of 2020, Verse Concepts serves as a foundation for the creation and development of new artistic projects, while offering boutique products and artworks to the aerial and circus world.

Sensitive to the current climate of our community, the brand aims to foster community growth through support and collaboration with fellow artists and industry professionals, encouraging artists to find new paths for their creativity, to connect rather than compete, and to take this opportunity to rebuild our industry with a durable and supportive foundation.

Managed by Gene Kimlin and Max Torandell

Max is a veteran of the aerial acrobatic industry, with more than 20 years experience performing, coaching, choreographing and directing fo some of the world's most renowned companies and shows.

Gene's background in diving led him to perform with Cirque Du Soleil for 8 years, developing his artistic and creative eye, before coaching at Dragone's The House of Dancing Water for the last 4 years before the shutdown.
