Vanessa began her acrobatic journey at the age of 4 when she started artistic gymnastics and continued until she was 18 years old accomplishing a high competitive status.
She was then introduced to the world of circus and she immediately fell in love with aerial tissu. Vanessa performed in various performance pieces and shows over a two year period in Las Vegas and California before attending The National Circus School of Montreal (ENC).
She graduated ENC in 2017 and has since continued developing herself as a performer, specializing on aerial tissue but also found interests in several other disciplines such as: handstands, straps, cyr wheel, and aerial hoop.
One of the highlights of Vanessa’s career to date is having created an original apparatus called ‘Tension Tissu’, with the help of her coaches. She’s still continuing to explore her apparatus with her desire to share it with the circus community and the world.
