Valerio Vázquez.
Mexican circus artist and stage director specialist in circus by the Russian University of Theatre Arts (RUTI-GITIS).
Formed as a circus performer in the russian tradition of the circus and variety arts, specializes in juggling, floor acrobatics and comedy. He started his career in the mexican theatre - circus company “Escuadrón Jitomate Bola”, under the instruction of the former Soviet Circus artist and director Anatoli Lokachtchouk.
Valerio Vazquez trained in the Moscow State Circus and Variety Arts School (GUTZEI). Since 2005 works in his own company “La Gran Pompa - eccentric theatre”, as a director and performer, becoming one of the most influential theatre-circus companies in Mexico. In 2008, under the direction of Lokachtchouk, he developed a new circus act of juggling on trapeze, called Flying Juggler.
He has performed at many theatres, and show centers in Mexico, South America, Europe, and the US. He has work also as an actor for several theatre productions, and worked for TV and cinema. He is also a big developer of clown and circus arts in his country, spreading it all over Mexico by teaching workshops and courses.
