The Stage Global

The Stage Global is a movement-arts training center and creative studio based in Pomona, California. We blend science and artistry to create inclusive, accessible, and empowering spaces for circus, pole, and performance training. Through workshops, teacher trainings, and original productions, The Stage Global champions creativity, education, and community. We celebrate every body’s right to shine in the spotlight. 

Jehan Izhar is a movement scientist, creative producer, and founder-director of The Stage Global in Pomona, California. As a Kinesiology Professor with credentials as a Sports Performance Coach and Medical Exercise Specialist, Jehan blends the science and art of human movement to create transformative approaches to training and performance. As a longtime advocate for inclusivity in sport and the performing arts, Jehan’s work champions every body’s right to move, express, and excel.

 
As a performer, Jehan is known for her bold stage presence and theatrical characters, she is passionate about powerful storytelling with bold and intentional movement choices. 

Over the past decade Jehan has written, directed and produced more than 50 circus and pole shows, including directing the inaugural Pole Theater Egypt competition in 2019 and directing Rise the Night Pole Show in Los Angeles in 2020. Jehan is a two-time gold medallist of the Pole Sport Organization and has coached athletes across the United States, Australia and the Middle East to podium finishes in aerial and pole competitions.

 
Jehan has served as a judge for the Pole Sport Organization and is excited to join the judging panel for the Aerial Arts Society, looking forward to witnessing the creativity, artistry, and talent that each competitor brings to the stage.
